Dar es Salaam-- President Lu and Mr. Gong Wu, the General Manager of Holleypharm(T) visited Mr. Mwita, the Dean of Tanzanian Malaria Prevention and Control Committee. Mr. Dean highly supported Holley-Cotec in the development strategy in Africa and gave some suggestions as followings: 1. Government tender projects supported by Global Fund in African countries are only open for the manufacturers that passed the GMP inspection of WHO, application and qualification for the WHO prequalification is in need. 2. The old facilities in Tanzania could not meet the GMP requirements, and local manufacturers need support from Holley-Cotec. 3. Holley-Cotec should initiate the clinical trials on Duo-Cotecxin in Tanzania. Mr. Dean said if obtained qualification of the WHO prequalification and finished the clinical trial, we would have large chance to win the government tender in Tanzania.
